The activity
A guided hike through the Arrábida Natural Park, one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in Portugal, where green limestone hills drop straight into a clear, turquoise sea.
We climb gently up to the ridge viewpoints, with the Tróia peninsula and the Sado estuary on one side and the open Atlantic on the other, then walk back through Mediterranean scrub full of rosemary, thyme and wild olive.
Your guide tells you about the park's plants, geology and history along the way. No technical gear needed: just good shoes and a normal level of fitness.

What to bring
- Shoes: trail or walking shoes with good grip.
- Clothes: comfortable layers; a light jacket in cooler months.
- Water: 1.5 L and a snack.
- Sun: sunscreen, sunglasses and a cap.
- Backpack: a small one.
